Audra Leigh Braden serves as Deputy Member in Charge of the firm’s Collin County office and co-leads Clark Hill’s fractional General Counsel practice. In this role, she provides strategic legal leadership to companies across a range of industries, managing risk, compliance, and legal operations as an integral part of her clients’ executive teams. As fractional general counsel, Audra coordinates with attorneys across the firm to support clients and oversee a wide spectrum of legal matters, including corporate governance, litigation, immigration, data privacy and cybersecurity, real estate, employment, and intellectual property. She regularly attends officer meetings and maintains close, ongoing relationships with her clients’ executive teams to ensure proactive legal guidance.

In addition to her general counsel work, Audra maintains a robust litigation practice. For more than a decade, she has represented companies and individuals in complex business disputes, including matters involving contracts, trade secrets, collections, and business torts. Her litigation experience spans jury and bench trials, injunction hearings, and appellate advocacy, with a client base that includes technology, energy, real estate, and financial services companies.

Audra has successfully obtained numerous favorable outcomes for her clients, including pre-litigation settlement, permanent and preliminary injunctive relief, claim dismissals, summary judgments, substantial jury verdicts, and significant settlements. Representative work includes obtaining a six-figure settlement for an insurance company in a non-compete dispute, a substantial jury verdict for real estate investors in an option contract case, and multiple complete dismissals of lawsuits involving trade secret misappropriation and breach of fiduciary duty claims. She has also argued successfully before the Fifth District Court of Appeals and has extensive experience in pre- and post-judgment enforcement actions, including garnishments and receiverships.

Audra’s practice also includes representing clients in arbitration, intellectual property disputes, employment negotiations, and contract enforcement. She has advised clients in high-stakes disputes with software companies, defended oilfield services providers and national banks, and represented plaintiffs in complex litigation, including multidistrict litigation against a major medical device manufacturer.

With a reputation for strategic thinking, responsiveness, and a results-driven approach, Audra is a trusted advisor to businesses navigating both day-to-day legal needs and high-stakes disputes.
