Natasha Jenkins

Senior Attorney

Natasha Jenkins is an experienced and versatile attorney who focuses on labor and employment law. She has represented both unions and employers in various industries, including aviation, transportation, technology, manufacturing, education and state and municipal government. She has a passion for advocacy and resolving complex labor & employment disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.

Prior to joining Clark Hill, P.C., Natasha was an associate at the world’s largest labor and employment law firm, where she focused on employment litigation involving matters arising under Title VII, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, FLSA, Illinois Human Rights Act, the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Act. Beyond employment litigation, Natasha has extensive experience in traditional labor, having served as Labor Relations Manager & Arbitration Counsel for United Airlines, Inc. where she was lead counsel in grievance proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations to ensure that collective bargaining agreements (CBA) and disciplinary procedures were consistently enforced across company divisions.  Natasha also served as served General Counsel of Teamsters Local 700 where she negotiated collective bargaining agreements, handled unfair labor practice charges and grievance proceedings.

In addition to her experience in the private sector, Natasha has extensive experience in the public sector. She served as Senior Attorney for the Chicago Transit Authority, Labor & Employment Counsel for the Illinois Department of Central Management Services and is a former Assistant Attorney General of Illinois.  In those roles, she appeared before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Illinois Human Rights Commission, Illinois Labor Relations Board, Illinois State Police Merit Board, and federal and state courts.

Natasha also served as the 108th President of the Cook County Bar Association (CCBA), the oldest association of African American lawyers and judges in the nation, founded in 1914. She is the youngest woman president in the organization’s history.  Natasha continues to volunteer as an advisor, committee chair, and mentor with the organization.
