Clifford (Gary) G. Cooper II assists clients in a range of real estate and intellectual property matters, including patent and trademark strategy and acquisition, and affordable housing tax credit compliance.

Gary drafts and prosecutes patent applications for clients in a variety of fields. He also advises clients on acquisition strategy and provides opinions on the patentability of inventions, patent validity, and infringement. Additionally, Gary assists in the acquisition and prosecution of trademarks, and has experience filing trademark appeals before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Gary also provides counseling and due diligence review for syndicators, lenders, and developers on projects involving affordable housing transactions utilizing the Section 42 low income housing tax credit.
