Clark Hill Adds James Ugalde to Phoenix Office

Clark Hill announced today that James Ugalde has joined the firm as a Member of the Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy practice group in the Phoenix office.

Ugalde represents lenders, banks, and secured creditors in sophisticated commercial finance, real estate, litigation, and bankruptcy matters.

“James is a terrific addition to our practice group, and his skill set will improve the value we can provide to clients,” said Banking & Financial Services Business Unit Director Paul Mueller.

Ugalde advises senior executives and in-house counsel on general commercial finance, bankruptcy, and litigation matters. He also negotiates and documents transactional documents for distressed credit and tenant situations.

“I’m very excited for the opportunity to join Clark Hill’s Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy team,” Ugalde said. “The collaborative culture among a talented group of attorneys especially appealed to me as I look to grow my practice.”

Ugalde earned his J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2003. This year, he was selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America® in the area of Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law.
