Clark Hill Attorney Joann Needleman Quoted in Inside Mortgage Finance

Joann Needleman was recently quoted in an article in Inside Mortgage Finance titled, “CFPB Ratifies Prior Actions; Enforcement Questions Remain.”

In the article, Needleman comments on the CFPB’s ratification and enforcement of nearly all prior regulatory actions under the leadership of Director Kathy Kraninger, former acting Director Mick Mulvaney, and former Director Richard Cordray.

“There are still so many questions [surrounding the CFPB],” said Needleman, Leader of the firm's Consumer Financial Services Regulatory & Compliance group. “I think you are going to get a variety of decisions, and that [enforcement] issue may find its way back to the Supreme Court.”
