Mark Sessions litigates complex business and commercial disputes which frequently involve contract, telecom, shareholder/partner issues, as well as business torts, construction claims, and banking, financial services.

Since 2017, he has served as an arbitrator of commercial disputes for the American Arbitration Association. As a mediator, he facilitates settlement of a wide range of disputes. His insights gained from addressing client issues and opportunities in a breadth of practice settings – – national firm, telecom general counsel, small office/solo practitioner, arbitrator, and mediator – – enable him to handle complicated legal and business issues efficiently, as balanced and perceptive counsel with advanced problem-solving skills.

Mark litigates in state, federal and bankruptcy courts, and administrative venues. Representative disputes involve commercial contracts, partnership/corporate rights, breach of fiduciary duty and shareholder oppression, banking, mortgages, non-compete, and commercial construction.

Prior to joining Clark Hill, he served as general counsel of an international long-distance telecom provider, focusing on commercial contracts, licenses, privacy compliance, corporate transactions, state, local, and foreign telecom tax, and ESOP formation and compliance. He also provided day-to-day legal support to the management teams and general labor & employment advice.

Since 2011, he has served on multiple property/homeowner association boards and currently serves as president of the POA where he resides.

Since 2019, he has served as faculty for the American Arbitration Association to train new arbitrators and devise training curriculum.
