Mark Sessions is commercial litigator who served from 2003-2010 as general counsel of a long distance telecommunications company providing services to businesses worldwide, with emphasis on India, the Philippines and Mexico. As GC, he focused on commercial contracts and licenses, and regulatory compliance, including all privacy and data breach concerns, as well as corporate transactions in the US and abroad, mergers and acquisitions, state, local, and foreign telecom tax issues, and ESOP formation and compliance. Mark also provided day to day legal support to the management teams and general labor & employment advice.
As a commercial litigator over 30+ years, Mark has represented clients in numerous lawsuits in state, federal and bankruptcy courts, and administrative venues. These include disputes involving banking, commercial contracts, real property, oil and gas interests, partnership and corporate issues, non-compete agreements, franchise and distributor relationships, securities and FINRA claims, breach of fiduciary duty and shareholder oppression claims, commercial construction, and data breach and privacy issues.
