Loukas P. Kalliantasis
Loukas P. Kalliantasis is a Member in the Firm’s Birmingham office, where he practices in the Corporate group. Loukas advises and counsels clients with respect to a wide range of business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions and general corporate representation.
Loukas works on all aspects of asset, equity and other business transactions, in a variety of industries, and has significant experience with Hart-Scott-Rodino premerger notification filings. He is well versed in and negotiates and drafts supply chain agreements and other contracts for commercial transactions. Loukas routinely forms business entities, prepares governing documents to suit client needs and advises clients on internal governance matters.
Loukas earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he received several awards for academic merit, including in the areas of Contracts and Corporate Transactions. While in law school, he was an Executive Symposium Editor of the Law Review and interned for the Hon. Avern L. Cohn of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Loukas has been continuously recognized as a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers® since 2013.
