Bethany (Beth) Stawasz litigates a wide variety of disputes impacting business clients, including national banks and other financial institutions, closely held corporations and LLCs, and nonprofits, among others.

She counsels and defends these clients in actions involving claims for breach of contract and fiduciary duty, claims arising under the Uniform Commercial Code, real estate disputes, alleged violations of consumer protection and lending laws, and supply chain warranty claims. Beth also is an appellate litigator in both the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Michigan Court of Appeals. Through every stage of litigation, Beth helps her clients to defend their interests and counsels them in the most efficient ways to reach their litigation goals.

In addition to her litigation practice, Beth also advises clients on compliance with federal and state lending laws, responds to complaints made against her clients with regulatory bodies, such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and drafts compliance manuals for use by large institutional clients.
