Bailey Kadian represents school districts in a variety of education law matters, focusing specifically on special education and school disability law.

Bailey represents school districts when complaints are filed in state and federal tribunals and courts with claims arising out of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Michigan Mandatory Special Education Act, Section 504, The Elliot-Larsen Civil Rights Act, Title VI, Title IX, the Freedom of Information Act, and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. Bailey also works with clients to find ways to reach resolution through alternatives to litigation.

In addition to providing representation for legal proceedings, Bailey works to support school district clients by presenting at professional development trainings throughout the state of Michigan, advising clients and their school staff on how to practice compliance under special education law.
