Amia Banks represents clients on affordable housing, regulatory matters, corporate law, and estate planning.

Amia works with clients to structure and document real estate, asset, and entity acquisitions and dispositions including, but not limited to, drafting and negotiating complex contracts, representing and advising clients on affordable housing and community development programs, and performing comprehensive due diligence.

She works with telecommunications companies, municipalities, consortiums, and internet service providers on matters, including issues related to state and federal regulations, telecommunications services agreements, and matters before the Michigan Public Service Commission such as telecommunications license expansion applications.

She also assists clients with business formation and structuring of organizational documents including shareholder agreements, operating agreements, partnership agreements, bylaws, and preparation of business contracts and other transactional documents.

Additionally, Amia is dedicated to preserving the legacy clients have worked so hard to create. She assists clients by drafting estate planning documents including wills, trust agreements, marital agreements, and financial and medical powers of attorney.
