Clark Hill Expands Nevada Presence, Opening Reno Office With Three Litigators, Public Strategy Additions

Leif Reid, Kristen Martini, Nicole Scott Join as Litigation Members, Alfredo Alonso Joins Clark Hill Public Strategies as Firm Opens 30th Office

 

International law firm Clark Hill PLC announced today that three litigators –Leif Reid, Kristen Martini and Nicole Scott have joined the firm as Members and that Alfredo Alonso has joined as a Principal at Clark Hill Public Strategies (CHPS), Clark Hill’s advocacy and lobbying affiliate. The group is establishing the firm’s Reno office, its second office in Nevada, following the continued success of the Las Vegas office. Clark Hill now has 30 offices in its global platform.

Leif Reid has a stellar reputation as the go-to lawyer for clients facing high-stakes litigation. His practice covers a broad range of complex litigation, including matters regarding antitrust, unfair competition, energy, contract disputes, mass tort and product liability in state and federal jurisdictions throughout Nevada. In his Liquor law practice, he works with name brand clients facing litigation as well as advocating on behalf of clients. Reid, son of the late U.S. Senator Harry Reid, earned his B.A from Brigham Young University and his J.D. from Stanford Law School.

Alfredo T. Alonso advocates for clients throughout the state on a range of issues, working with them to educate and inform legislators and decisionmakers. With more than two decades of government affairs experience, he helps clients achieve their business objectives.

Kristen Martini focuses on large-scale complex commercial litigation, antitrust actions and business torts, where she regularly appears in state and federal courts in Reno and Las Vegas. Her appellate practice includes appearing before the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She earned her undergraduate degree at University of Nevada-Reno and her J. D.  at University of Nevada-Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law.

Nicole Scott advocates for clients in the commercial litigation, appellate, and alcohol/liquor sectors. With a background in finance and real estate, she provides counsel on a range of complex litigation and corporate matters. A former law clerk to the Honorable Chief Justice Hardesty at the Nevada Supreme Court, Scott earned her B.S.B.A. at the University of Nevada, an M.B.A. from Hawaii Pacific University, an M.A. in Secondary Education from University of Nevada, and her J.D. from University of Nevada-Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law.
