Clark Hill Adds Michael Fritz to Real Estate Practice

January 26, 2023

Clark Hill announced today that Michael Fritz has joined the firm as a Member of its Real Estate practice. Fritz will initially join Clark Hill’s New York office but will be transferring to Arizona later this year.

Fritz, a New York lawyer with nearly two decades of experience, practices in the areas of commercial real estate and corporate law. He concentrates his practice on commercial real estate capital market transactions and general business counseling. Fritz regularly advises national and multinational clients in the commercial real estate, healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing industries.

My practice is centered around traditional real estate and corporate work, but a large part of my practice is focused on helping clients establish sophisticated holding and investment structures,” Fritz said. “This necessarily includes a significant amount of joint venture work and representing investors at every level of the capital stack.”

With clients across the country, Fritz said Clark Hill’s national reach helped convince him to join the firm.

“Clark Hill is a full-service firm that can support our clients by providing the ancillary services that our real estate clients often need, like tax structuring, financing, and corporate work,” Fritz said. “These services, along with Clark Hill’s  geographic reach were important considerations for me as I look to expand my practice to the Southwest.”

“Michael’s experience representing clients at every level of the commercial real estate capital stack and with structuring complex joint ventures will be a great addition to what we offer real estate funds and institutional real estate investors,” said Joshua Farber, co-leader of Clark Hill’s Real Estate practice.

Fritz earned his law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2006.
