Tevin D. Bowens

Senior Attorney

Tevin D. Bowens represents debtors, creditors, and financial stakeholders in bankruptcy and restructuring matters. He advises clients in distressed situations, helping them assess risk, protect assets, and achieve efficient resolutions in and out of court.

Tevin focuses on Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings, including Subchapter V matters, where he handles adversary proceedings and contested issues involving fraud, fiduciary duties, and loan disputes. He manages matters through all phases of litigation, including drafting motions and briefs, conducting discovery, and developing case strategy.

He also counsels clients on workouts and restructuring strategies, analyzing credit and security agreements, identifying defaults, and negotiating forbearance and settlement agreements.

Before entering private practice, Tevin served as a judicial clerk to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois, providing insight into bankruptcy proceedings and judicial decision-making.
