Sheryl Traum

Sheryl Traum represents property owners, businesses, contractors, design professionals and real estate brokers in matters involving contract disputes, property damage, construction defects, personal injuries, ownership disputes, real estate transactions and business losses, including helping clients recover contributions from other responsible parties. Sheryl uses her broad range of litigation experience to focus on solutions to complex issues which allow her to position her clients for optimal litigation outcomes.

Sheryl counsels commercial and residential property owners, developers, contractors, architects, engineers, buyers and sellers of real property, product manufacturers, real estate brokers and landlords.  In her efforts to limit and/or deflect clients’ alleged liability, Sheryl has successfully collaborated with consultants in the areas of construction standards, engineering, architecture, soils, standards of care, property damage, economic damage, allegedly toxic substances (including mold), medicine, roadways, allegedly dangerous conditions on property, real property brokerage, property boundaries and trees.  Sheryl has successfully litigated, mediated and, when necessary, tried (or arbitrated) numerous cases, including large multi-party, complex litigation cases with damage claims in excess of $100,000,000.
