Shelby Garland represents and advises employers on a wide range of labor and employment law matters. Her practice includes resolving restrictive covenant disputes, wage and hour claims, and allegations of discrimination, retaliation, and harassment.

Prior to joining Clark Hill, Shelby was an associate at an international labor and employment firm representing management in all areas of labor and employment law. There she gained experience counseling and defending clients ranging from small businesses to multinational corporations across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, and retail.

During law school, Shelby interned for the Honorable Jill A. Pryor in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta. Additionally, she served as an Executive Editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy and was an Associate on the Legal Information Institute (LII) Supreme Court Bulletin.
