Richard V. Sica
Richard V. Sica is presently engaged in general labor relations practice.
Rick was admitted to the Bar of Pennsylvania in 1972. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and was formerly of the faculty of Robert Morris College, where he taught courses in labor management relations.
Rick is a former chairman of the Labor Relations Committee of the Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Association. He has negotiated labor contracts on behalf of corporate clients, both large and small, public and private. He has also participated in the labor aspects of leveraged buy-outs on behalf of both sellers and buyers.
Rick is a former partner and currently of counsel with the Firm. He is a member of the firm’s Employment Law practice group and knowledgeable in all areas of administrative and judicial labor law, including employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, occupational safety and health, union representation, workers’ compensation and unemployment compensation.
He is an experienced consultant and advisor regarding day-to-day workplace policies and procedures, grievance processing and collective bargaining.
