Phoebe Moffatt is an Arizona State Bar Board-certified specialist in Estate & Trust law and a fellow with the American College of Estate and Trust Counsel (ACTEC) with nearly 30 years of experience advising trustees, personal representatives, beneficiaries, and heirs in navigating complex legal and tax issues that arise post-death or post-incapacity.  Ms. Moffatt’s practice focuses on estate planning, trust administration, probate and fiduciary litigation, guardianship and conservatorship matters, estate and gift tax planning, and succession planning for closely held businesses.  Her fundamental approach is listening to her client’s needs.  This allows for the creation of a customized solution unique to each client’s personal circumstances.

Phoebe Moffatt assists her clients in protecting and preserving their wealth and by structuring tax-efficient wealth transfer plans to minimize tax liability and the burdens of probate whenever possible.  In addition, after the death or incapacity of a loved one, Ms. Moffatt helps clients understand how to properly administer a decedent’s estate plan, which often includes collecting a decedent’s assets, paying a decedent’s creditors, preparing estate and gift tax returns, and distributing the balance to the decedent’s legal heirs and beneficiaries, and with or without court intervention depending on the unique circumstances of each case.
