Nicole Janigian Simonian counsels companies on international trade, global mobility, and cross border compliance matters. With more than 25 years of experience, Nicole advises clients ranging from emerging growth companies to Fortune 100 enterprises throughout Asia, North America, Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East. She serves as a trusted strategic advisor to public, private equity, and portfolio companies across a broad range of industries, including aerospace, semiconductors, medical devices, food and beverage, retail, apparel, personal care, advertising, outsourcing services, nonprofit organizations, and universities.

Nicole regularly guides companies from initial market entry through ongoing international operations, advising on international trade, supply chain compliance, cross-border employment, investigations, data privacy, and corporate structuring matters. Her experience includes counseling clients on market access, onshoring and offshoring initiatives, outsourcing arrangements, joint ventures, acquisitions, and integration strategies in an increasingly complex global regulatory environment.

An innovator in the global mobility field, Nicole has spent decades helping companies develop and implement workforce mobility programs that support international growth while managing compliance risk. She advises employers on cross border workforce deployment in more than 50 countries and works closely with compliance, employment, privacy, tax, corporate, and finance teams to address the regulatory issues that arise when employees work across jurisdictions. Her experience includes developing expatriate assignment programs and advising on workplace regulations, anti-corruption laws, data privacy requirements, and cross-border investigations.

Nicole provides practical, business-focused guidance that helps clients navigate evolving global regulations while advancing their strategic objectives. Her ability to combine legal insight with an understanding of the cultural sensitivities and operational realities of international business enables her to deliver solutions tailored to clients’ global needs.
