Neel Kapur is a trial attorney and former federal prosecutor. He represents individuals and companies targeted in U.S. Government prosecutions by the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Homeland Security, and the Internal Revenue Service. Neel also represents clients in complex civil litigation matters in federal and state courts across the country.

Prior to joining Clark Hill, Neel served as prosecutor for seven years including three years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of Texas where he conducted major criminal investigations involving complex money laundering and fraud schemes, bulk cash smuggling, domestic public corruption, Medicaid/Medicare fraud, weapons and narcotics smuggling, and violent crime.

Earlier in his career, Neel served as an Assistant District Attorney in Texas where he was a chief prosecutor responsible for training and supervising prosecutors in state criminal practice and advocacy. Prior to that, Neel served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Ricardo Hinojosa, Chief Judge, United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. During his career Neel has been lead counsel in more than 50 jury trials.
