Matthew Jones

Matt has specific experience defending and investigating complex matters in various contexts, including claims against educational institutions, sexual abuse claims against businesses and employers, sports-related injuries, and products liability. Matt also has experience in insurance coverage matters and commercial automotive liability defense, including both litigation and pre-suit investigation.

Matt knows his clients and their own knowledge are frequently his greatest asset in most cases, and strives to obtain all available information regarding a case at the outset to advise the client of the probable range of outcomes.  Litigation often results in unexpected developments, so Matt maintains regular contact with the client throughout all phases of the litigation.  Matt’s approach is tailored to the needs of each case – he will aggressively litigate cases where such an approach is called for, while keeping an eye out for unique, and often transient, resolution opportunities that can produce advantageous outcomes for clients.

Matt has also defended litigation matters and previously served as a judicial law clerk for the Superior Court of New Jersey.
