Greg has extensive experience in preparing discovery, demand letters, negotiating settlements, and engaging in mediation. Greg also has experience in arbitrations and trials. In addition, Greg has prevailed on numerous motions for summary judgment, demurrers, motions to strike, motions to compel, motions for good faith settlement determinations, etc. Furthermore, Greg has successfully opposed many motions brought by opposing counsel.
He is also a registered United States Patent Attorney and has obtained more than 20 patents for his clients.
Before becoming an attorney, Greg spent more than 13 years working as an engineer in the fields of construction, manufacturing, and research and development. This allowed him to gain knowledge of the inner workings of these industries and enabled him to gain hands-on experience by working at a nuclear power plant, a military defense research and development site, an oil refinery, a rocket development laboratory, a semiconductor manufacturing facility, and at a disc drive manufacturing facility.
Greg also has seven years of experience working as in-house counsel for a construction company. This allowed him to draft and review construction contracts, record and foreclose on mechanics liens, prepare stop-payment notices, file claims against payment bonds, handle litigation, and address other legal issues.
