Lily Yu represents insurers in insurance coverage disputes across a wide range of products, with an emphasis on Financial Institution Bonds and Commercial Crime Policies.

She advises on complex bond claims, commercial crime insurance coverage issues, and cyber insurance policy disputes.  Lily also handles claims related to employee dishonesty, social engineering fraud, cyber-crime, computer fraud, and other commercial crime risks.  She conducts detailed coverage analysis and supports investigations for claims involving directors and officers (D&O) liability, employment practices liability (EPL), fiduciary liability, and professional liability insurance.

Lily works closely with insurers and insureds from the initial coverage determination through all stages of litigation, if an alternative resolution is not reached.  She defends professionals, fiduciary, and other insureds in both civil litigation and arbitration proceedings.

Prior to joining Clark Hill, Lily practiced at a respected Texas law firm, focusing on appeals and insurance coverage litigation.  She has handled civil appeals before Court of Appeals throughout Texas, as well as the Texas Supreme Court.  Lily has also advised clients on risk exposure related to construction defect claims, contractual indemnity disputes, Form F suretyship, premises liability, commercial motor carrier liabilities, trucking accident claims, and personal injury matters.
