Kate has extensive experience preparing complex commercial disputes for hearing before the Commercial Court and the High Court, including shareholder disputes and injunction applications. She is highly regarded for maintaining rigorous legal and procedural standards across all stages of litigation. As part of the wider litigation team, Kate has acted for commercial clients on both the plaintiff and defence sides of disputes, including representing clients in mediation and arbitration. A further key area of her practice is the management of Central Bank of Ireland Inquiries into Professional Conduct and Fitness and Probity.
Kate’s employment practice involves managing employment disputes from an early stage through to resolution, whether by way of hearings before the Workplace Relations Commission or Labour Court, or mediation. She supports partners in delivering practical and commercially focused advice to employers dealing with complex workplace matters, including whistleblowing, unfair dismissals, TUPE, redundancies, discrimination, and HR-related complaints. Kate is CIPD accredited and is a member of the Employment Law Association of Ireland.
