Joseph Friedman represents business organizations, including clients in the health insurance industry, professional and institutional healthcare providers and durable medical equipment organizations.

Through his extensive trial and litigation experience in state and federal trial and appellate courts, Joseph defends his clients in the health insurance industry, professional and institutional healthcare providers and durable medical equipment organizations in antitrust, ERISA, intellectual property, and trade secret cases.

Joseph has also represented clients in RICO, class action, patent infringement and public finance-related matters. Many of the cases in which he served as lead counsel are reported decisions.

In addition, Joseph serves as a mediator and arbitrator in alternate dispute resolution mechanisms including mini-trials. He is neutral on both the American Arbitration Association’s Commercial Panel of Neutrals and the American Health Law Association’s panel of Arbitrators and has arbitrated numerous disputes in state court statutory arbitration proceedings.
