John R. Whipkey helps individual landowners and companies navigate complex oil and gas legal matters.  With more than 13 years of experience, John advises his clients by evaluating property rights and resolving issues related to oil and gas titles.

John has authored hundreds of oil and gas title opinions, helping clients make informed decisions about their property or potential acquisitions. He also provides legal counsel on title concerns and has represented clients in court to resolve title disputes in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Additionally, John advocates for landowners in royalty payment disputes, working to ensure they receive fair compensation in West Virginia and Ohio.

As an owner of Carolina Mineral Partners LLC, which acquires mineral rights from individuals in Ohio and West Virginia, John understands acquisitions from every side of the transaction.
