John Kim is a seasoned attorney with more than 30 years of experience in intellectual property law, helping clients protect, enforce, and maximize the value of their intellectual property assets. His practice spans the full spectrum of intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, litigation, licensing, transactions, portfolio management, and strategic counseling.

John advises domestic and international clients on the protection, enforcement, monetization, and commercialization of intellectual property assets. He routinely prepares and prosecutes patent, trademark, and copyright applications in the United States and worldwide, conducts intellectual property due diligence and investigations, and drafts and negotiates complex technology and intellectual property agreements.

An experienced litigator, John has represented clients in patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret disputes before federal courts and administrative tribunals. His experience also includes proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
