Jessica advises clients throughout the lifecycle of commercial transactions, from evaluating risk and negotiating terms to drafting and implementing complex agreements. Her experience includes sales and purchasing agreements, master supply agreements, fabrication and installation contracts, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements, restrictive covenant matters, equipment leases, and real estate transactions. She works closely with business leaders to develop practical, business-focused solutions that align legal strategy with operational goals.
A significant component of Jessica’s practice involves mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. She has experience supporting and leading domestic and cross-border transactions, from the preparation and negotiation of letters of intent to the final drafting and execution of definitive agreements. Her transactional background allows her to guide clients through strategic initiatives while addressing the legal and commercial considerations that arise during the evolution and integration of such deals.
Jessica also counsels clients on dispute resolution, regulatory matters, employment-related investigations, and intellectual property management. Her experience includes overseeing litigation involving contract disputes, personal injury claims, property damage matters, and collection actions, as well as advising on employment discrimination issues and trademark portfolio management. This combination of transactional, regulatory, employment, and litigation-management experience enables her to provide comprehensive legal guidance across a broad range of business concerns.
Prior to joining Clark Hill, Jessica served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Michigan Department of Attorney General, where she handled administrative proceedings against healthcare professionals and occupational licenses, including regulatory, employment, contract, and discrimination matters. She also provided legal advice to regulatory boards.
