Jacqueline H. Sellers
Jacqueline H. Sellers serves as Of Counsel in Clark Hill’s Detroit office in the Litigation Practice Group. Jacqueline primarily practices in the area of commercial and general civil litigation at the state and federal levels. She has extensive experience in warranty and product liability law, and served as national coordinating counsel for warranty and product liability discovery matters for a major automotive manufacturer for more than 17 years.
As Of Counsel, Jacqueline also develops key relationships, with a focus on client development and diversity initiatives, recruitment and retention. She is a champion of mediation, case evaluation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
Following law school, Jacqueline clerked for then Michigan Supreme Court Justice Dennis W. Archer.
Jacqueline is a mediator for the Wayne County Circuit Court Mediation Tribunal and is a certified general civil case mediator. She has also served as a panelist for Michigan’s Attorney Discipline Board. She is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the State Bar of Michigan and a member of the American Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Section.
Jacqueline was actively involved with the CYOC Foundation from its inception in 1998 until 2009. She has served as a panelist for the National Bar Association, the CYOC In-House Counsel Career Conference, the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan and the Augustus Straker Bar Association, presenting on profitable attorney-client relationships, rainmaking, and diversity.
Jacqueline was an Executive Director and Secretary on the Board of Forgotten Harvest from 2005-2011, the nation’s then largest food rescue organization and is a member of the Renaissance Chapter of the Links, Inc.
