Gavin advises clients on a variety of transactional and advisory matters, and has experience working on mergers and acquisitions, investment transactions, shareholder arrangements, corporate governance issues, and corporate restructurings. He also regularly advises clients with commercial agreements, supporting clients in achieving practical and commercially focused outcomes.

Gavin originally qualified as a Legal Costs Accountant, where he developed a strong technical understanding of legal costs, case management, and procedural matters.

Subsequently to this qualification, Gavin trained within a busy litigation department, where he was involved in a wide range of complex commercial court proceedings. His experience includes advising on and assisting in commercial disputes, as well as matters arising from various statutory investigations. Through this work, he gained valuable insight into dispute strategy, regulatory frameworks, and court procedures.

His combined experience across legal costs, litigation, and corporate law provides him with a well-rounded perspective and enables him to deliver pragmatic, client-focused advice.
