Charles O’Hara assists clients in various aspects of environmental and natural resources law, including oil and natural gas projects, electric generation projects, waste disposal projects and commercial finance transactions.

His oil and gas transactional experience includes negotiation and documentation of acquisitions of blocks of oil and gas leases for exploration purposes and for development of a natural gas storage project, as well as negotiation of oil and gas leases, joint operating agreements, drilling program agreements and other instruments used in exploration activities.

In his corporate practice, Charley has represented clients in various acquisition and divestiture transactions.

  • Negotiated MSW Disposal Service Agreements and other project documents for owner of waste to energy (WTE) facilities.
  • Negotiated amendments to MSW Disposal Service Agreements for WTE facilities.
  • Participated in settlement of multi-party dispute regarding interpretation of MSW Disposal Service Agreement.
  • Represented owner of WTE facilities in the sale of the facilities.
  • Participated in preparing responses to RFPs for construction and operation of WTE facilities.
  • Provided legal advice and contract drafting for day to day operational issues for WTE facilities.
