Clark Hill Attorneys Named 2023 Leading Lawyers

Eighty-six Clark Hill attorneys have been named 2023 Leading Lawyers, a distinction earned by fewer than five percent of all lawyers licensed to practice in Illinois, Michigan, and Missouri. Selected lawyers have been recognized by their peers as being among the top lawyers in the nation. Additionally, two Clark Hill attorneys have been identified as 2023 Emerging Lawyers, a distinction earned by fewer than two percent of lawyers licensed to practice in the state and have been identified by their peers to be among the top lawyers who are age 40 or younger unless they have practiced for no more than 10 years.

CISA Regulations Regarding Cybersecurity Incidents and Critical Infrastructure Proceeding

The Cyber Incident Reporting for Critical Infrastructure Act of 2022 (“CIRCIA”) was passed in 2022. That law required covered entities who are part of so-called “critical infrastructure” to report cybersecurity incidents and ransomware payments to the Federal government. For cyber incidents, the law required reporting to CISA within 72 hours and for ransomware payments, the reporting is required within 24 hours—both tight turnarounds.
