Government Coalitions and Campaigns

Clark Hill Public Strategies (CHPS) creates thoughtful engagement plans that assist our clients with long-term government relationship development and positioning of messaging. From organizing grassroots campaigns to building national coalitions, CHPS is positioned to ensure that clients can have confidence that the full spectrum of resources, relationships, and platforms support their public policy goals.

The team at CHPS can harness our national office footprint to plan, coordinate, and execute a myriad of strategies to ensure that your policy goals are supported by grassroots advocates and enhanced through the creation of partnerships with relevant industry associations. Our team can execute these campaigns at both the state and federal levels.

Industry Associations

Our relationship with industry and trade associations and their executives is that of close and trusted advisors.  Industry association executive leadership teams need assistance and external advice in navigating the long-term dynamics of Washington DC, state capitals, and international jurisdictions. Our team at CHPS is seasoned and experienced in providing legislative monitoring, keeping tabs on policy threats, and creating long-term projections of public policy trends so that our clients can navigate accordingly.

Coalition Development

CHPS can build coalitions when industry sector interests are threatened, or when a sector has decided to collectively respond to a public policy initiative. Building coalitions can be quickly activated by external advisors, such as those at CHPS. We have experience in building coalitions from the county level to state initiatives to the federal policy environment. Our team can also build international coalitions in which international industries may have collective interest in trade and tariff issues. The connectivity of our team with a wide array of coalition partners enables our clients to have an immediate ‘turnkey’ solution.

Grassroots Outreach

One of the most important elements of public affairs engagement is developing strategies on how to reach out to the grassroots of communities. Grassroots are local voters, local organizations, and coalitions of individuals that seek to express their views on policy initiatives. CHPS can assist clients in developing grassroots initiatives that resonate at the individual level, thereby building strength behind a message and policy initiative. Building grassroots support for policy initiatives is critically important and supplements sophisticated lobbying strategies.
