Clark Hill Attorney Bradford Hughes to Present Trucking Litigation Webinar Hosted by Magna Legal Services

Member Bradford Hughes will be a panelist for a moderated discussion titled “A Brave New World in Trucking Litigation” on August 5 hosted by Magna Legal Services. The webinar will cover topics including common misconceptions of jurors in trucking accident cases, juror reactions to key liability issues and propensity to award damages, identification of current strategic and tactical considerations in an actual case study, insights from experienced testifying experts, and best practices to empirically test and assess these cases with jury research. Hughes has a deep practice representing motor carriers, freight brokers, and shippers in trucking and transportation litigation. He is considered an industry leader in defending catastrophic trucking accidents, with particular proficiency in traumatic brain injury cases. Hughes has extensive knowledge of both the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and the CSA (Compliance, Safety, Accountability) Program. He currently serves on the Board of the American Bar Association’s Commercial Transportation Litigation Committee (CTLC) and Defense Research Institute (DRI) Trucking Committee. In addition, he is a member of the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA), Transportation Lawyers Association (TLA), and California Moving and Storage Association (CMSA).
