Patti Oviatt brings a broad range of trial and appellate experience to the firm representing both businesses and individuals. Her practice includes matters involving commercial and residential construction, real estate, estate and insurance defense litigation and probate.
Patti represents both homeowners and general contractors in resolving issues with construction defects, liens and payment disputes. She also represents general contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers involved in a variety of industry issues to include defective design and construction, payment, scope of work, liens, and termination issues.
Patti is a passionate and effective advocate for her clients. While she has resolved many cases before they result in litigation, she has been equally successful at obtaining favorable outcomes in arbitration and at trial. She helps clients achieve their goals by being a well prepared and creative problem solver.
She has successfully obtained jury verdicts for companies involved in partnership disputes, fraud, breach of contract, conversion of design plans, and tractor-trailer accidents involving serious bodily injuries.
