Nicolette Hoekstra represents clients in a broad range of civil disputes, including construction defect, general liability, premises liability, personal injury, and professional liability matters. With experience in both state and federal court, Nicolette manages cases throughout the pretrial process and helps clients evaluate litigation risk, address procedural challenges, and prepare matters for resolution or trial.

Nicolette has substantial experience developing and arguing dispositive and other case-shaping motions. Her work includes motions to dismiss, demurrers, motions to strike, motions for judgment on the pleadings, motions for summary adjudication, motions for summary judgment, motions to compel arbitration, and motions to bifurcate. She also handles discovery strategy and execution, including taking and defending depositions, preparing and responding to written discovery, meeting and conferring with opposing counsel, and pursuing further responses through motions to compel when necessary.
