Margarita Hernandez Martinez

Associate

Margarita Hernandez Martinez represents clients throughout the lifecycle of civil disputes, from early case assessment and pre-litigation counseling through discovery, negotiated resolution, and trial preparation. Her practice includes negligence claims, premises liability litigation, property damage disputes, breach of contract actions, uninsured and underinsured motorist arbitrations, and petitions for minors’ compromises. Margarita works closely with clients to understand the facts, evaluate legal issues, and develop strategies aligned with their objectives.

Her litigation experience encompasses drafting responsive pleadings, releases, motions, applications, and mediation briefs. Margarita also conducts legal research, argues motions in court, and prepares matters for trial by propounding and responding to written discovery and taking and defending depositions. This hands-on experience across multiple stages of a dispute enables her to assess how decisions made early in a case may affect discovery, settlement negotiations, arbitration, and trial strategy.
