Kimberly D. Rice is a seasoned litigator with a diverse background in insurance defense, coverage litigation, professional liability, premises liability, personal injury, medical malpractice, and complex commercial disputes. Drawing on more than a decade of legal experience, she represents businesses, insurers, and other clients through all phases of litigation, from case assessment and discovery through motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.

Kimberly has developed a reputation for her strategic approach to complex litigation and her ability to analyze challenging legal and factual issues. Her practice includes handling insurance coverage and bad faith matters, construction and premises liability claims, healthcare-related disputes, catastrophic injury cases, and other tort-based litigation. She regularly prepares and argues substantive motions, manages discovery, conducts and defends depositions, collaborates with experts, and develops litigation strategies focused on efficient and favorable outcomes for clients.

Before joining private practice, Kimberly gained extensive experience working on high-profile and complex matters, including securities litigation, class actions, employment disputes, large-scale disaster litigation, and nationwide insurance-related claims. Her broad litigation background provides valuable insight into risk management, case strategy, and dispute resolution across a variety of industries and legal disciplines.

In addition to her litigation practice, Kimberly is deeply committed to legal education and professional development. She has served as a professor, academic success specialist, and bar preparation instructor for several law schools, helping prepare future attorneys for successful legal careers. Her commitment to mentorship and the legal profession is further reflected through her longstanding leadership and involvement with the American Bar Association and other professional organizations.
