Jamielah handles matters from pre-litigation assessment and resolution through discovery, depositions, motion practice, witness preparation, and trial support in state and federal courts. Her experience includes commercial and employment disputes, trade secret and civil rights litigation, regulatory enforcement proceedings, and cross-border matters involving data privacy and other sensitive business considerations.
Her practice also includes counseling entrepreneurs, startups, content creators, and other creative professionals on commercial agreements, business relationships, brand and intellectual-property considerations, risk management, and disputes arising in the sports, entertainment, media, and digital-content industries. She helps these clients structure opportunities, safeguard their interests, and address potential conflicts before they disrupt growth.
Before entering private practice, Jamielah served as an Honors Attorney in the Office of General Counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where she worked on matters involving federal securities laws and enforcement issues. Drawing on her government and private-practice experience, she brings a strategic, business-minded approach focused on each client’s goals, long-term vision, and efficient resolution.
