Gia Marina supports clients in court for preliminary hearings and trials for criminal defense proceedings for matters such as criminal defense, civil rights and insurance defense.
Gia defends insurance cases with allegations of negligence, breach of contract, assault, battery and other actions based in tort law, for clients ranging from private non-profit organizations to Title Companies and Entertainment industries. Gia litigates civil rights cases for Plaintiffs who are victims of Constitutional Rights violations including excessive use of force and discrimination based on race. She also counsels and defends clients charged criminally for fraud, drug possession, assault and battery and driving under the influence.
Gia has prepared for and represented a client in a federal jury trial against police officers arising out of a violation of constitutional rights to be free from excessive force. She has also succeeded in settling insurance defense claims for their fair worth regarding minor slip and fall accidents.
