G. Daniel Carney

G. Daniel Carney, formerly a litigation partner and the Litigation Department Chairman, has been with Clark Hill Thorp Reed since 1966. He previously focused his practice in products liability, medical device, toxic tort, railroad, and commercial litigation. Dan now serves the firm in an Of Counsel relationship, consulting on firm litigation, consulting with various in-house committees, and assisting the firm with issues involving ethics and professionalism. In addition, Dan is a FINRA Arbitrator Chairman Qualified. For several years, most recently in 2011, Dan has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, an honor bestowed upon the top five percent of Pennsylvania lawyers. Recently he was named to Pittsburgh’s Top Lawyers for 2012.
