Forrest Zimmerman represents a wide variety of clients in complex commercial litigation, appeals, administrative matters, white-collar criminal defense cases, and issues facing sports organizations. Born and raised in Nevada, Forrest possesses a unique perspective on local issues and has built strong relationships with many members from all corners of the Las Vegas community.

Before joining Clark Hill, Forrest clerked for the Honorable Judge Deborah Westbrook on the Nevada Court of Appeals. There, he handled both civil and criminal matters while sharpening his legal research, writing, and analytical skills under one of the most highly respected judges in Nevada. This clerkship gave Forrest an invaluable front-row seat to effective advocacy as well as the judges’ approaches and thought processes to the matters before the court.

Forrest’s diverse experiences throughout law school heavily influence his practice today. He served in the Post-Conviction Clinic, where he represented several clients in parole hearings before the Arizona Board of Clemency and other post-conviction relief actions across Arizona. His roles in law school saw him work with the in-house legal team of a major professional sports franchise, assist as a researcher for a nation-leading sports law professor, intern with a boutique litigation firm handling construction and bankruptcy matters, and aiding the Cannabis Compliance Division of the Nevada Attorney General’s Office. Additionally, Forrest was elected the Executive Managing Editor for the Sports & Entertainment Law Journal, a leading publication dedicated to advancing scholarship on emerging issues in the field. He also sat on the board of the Cannabis Legal Association.
