Aly provides support in drafting complaints and pre-trial motions, securing and reviewing discovery, and finding the legal footing from which to approach a conflict. Her goal is to arm the client with the legal and factual support necessary to present a full and vigorous case in court, arbitration or mediation. She has experience in complex motion practice, co-authoring motions to the Southern District of Texas, State District Courts, and the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.
Prior to practicing law, Aly worked in the nonprofit field running civic integration and workforce development programs in Houston’s Chinatown. Assisting immigrants and entrepreneurs navigate legal challenges is a continuing theme in her practice.
