Alfredo Alonso has spent more than two decades at the intersection of policy and business, helping organizations make sense of how government decisions shape real-world outcomes. Known for his practical approach and deep understanding of Nevada’s political landscape, he works with clients to anticipate change, manage risk, and move their priorities forward.

Alfredo began his career in Washington, D.C., serving in senior roles for former U.S. Senator Jacob “Chic” Hecht and Congresswoman Barbara Vucanovich, where he worked on issues ranging from gaming and banking to small business and foreign affairs. He later served as a policy analyst for the Committee on House Administration, gaining firsthand insight into congressional procedure and election policy.

After returning home to Nevada, Alfredo was appointed deputy secretary of state under Secretary of State Cheryl Lau, serving as Nevada’s election administrator and helping advance election reform legislation. Today, he represents clients across industries including energy, transportation, financial services, health care, gaming, professional sports, manufacturing, and beverage distribution. Clients value his steady judgment, institutional knowledge, and ability to turn complex policy issues into clear, actionable strategy.
