Clark Hill is pleased to announce that Simone McCormick, an accomplished privacy and cybersecurity litigator, has joined the firm as a member in the San Francisco office. McCormick brings extensive experience advising clients on complex technology, data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory matters, further strengthening Clark Hill’s national capabilities in these rapidly evolving areas.
McCormick represents companies across a range of industries in high-stakes litigation, regulatory investigations, and incident response matters involving data privacy, cybersecurity, and emerging technology risks. Her practice includes defending clients in consumer class actions, privacy and technology litigation, managing responses to data breaches and cyber incidents, and counseling organizations on compliance with state, federal, and international privacy laws.

She joins a multidisciplinary team that advises clients on proactive risk management, compliance, and dispute resolution in an increasingly complex digital environment.

McCormick is admitted to practice law in state and federal courts in California, Oregon and Washington. She earned her law degree from the Golden State University School of Law. Before law school, Simone graduated from Christian Albrechts University, Kiel, Germany, earning a teaching degree and masters-level degree in English concentrating her thesis on Linguistics.
