Clark Hill adds Construction Members Stephen Wright and Jeffrey Nix

August 11, 2025

Clark Hill announced today that Stephen Wright and Jeffrey Nix have joined the firm’s Construction group as Members in Atlanta.

Wright and Nix represent owners, general contractors in all facets of construction transactional and litigation work, including contract drafting, selection of project delivery systems, dispute resolution and appeals.

“The breadth of the practice groups and depth of talent nationally really made Clark Hill attractive to us,” Wright said. “We’ve been working with many clients who want more help from us outside of construction work, and Clark Hill will be able to provide tremendous service to them.”

Clients for Wright and Nix include general contractors, property owners, and specialty trade contractors on diverse commercial and industrial construction projects. Other clients include national architecture firms, robotics and automation firms, universities and many more.

“I needed to join a national construction group to truly support my practice, and Clark Hill offers that and much more,” Nix said. “It feels like a natural fit here, and I’m looking forward to collaborating with our new colleagues on a wide range of matters.”

In addition to his construction practice, Nix maintains an extensive pro bono effort with several groups in Atlanta. He is a longtime board member of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and Atlanta Legal Aid, where he provides support for veteran affairs, wills for cancer patients, and eviction defense. He also participates in Leadership Atlanta, Associated General Contractors, and Associated Builders and Contractors.

Wright is active with the American Arbitration Association and is a panel member for large and complex construction matters. He also has been active over the years serving as officer of the Atlanta International Arbitration Association and helping local independent schools, his church community, and homeowners association. Wright has also been active in support of the Associated General Contractors and the American Council of Engineering Companies where he represented them before the Georgia Supreme Court.

“We’re delighted to have Stephen and Jeff on board to grow our construction footprint in Atlanta,” said Allison Castillo, Clark Hill’s construction business unit director. “While their experience and knowledge in the construction sector will be a great asset to our team, we’re also excited to be adding two individuals who use their legal skills to support others in their community.”

When Asylum Confidentiality Meets International Police Cooperation

International police cooperation is based on trust that participating states will act in good faith and that shared information will not be misused.
