John Van Fossen of Clark Hill PLC Receives Prestigious Title of Honorable Kentucky Colonel From the Commonwealth of Kentucky
LANSING, MICH. – Clark Hill’s John Van Fossen was recently named an Honorable Kentucky Colonel by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. This prestigious title is only given to those individuals who have demonstrated a strong commitment to his or her community, state or union, and for special achievements. The title is a symbol of the Governor’s recognition of Van Fossen’s service and accomplishments on behalf of others. Van Fossen joins a group of distinguished individuals, including President Bill Clinton, English Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Muhammad Ali.
Van Fossen is a director of Clark Hill’s Government & Public Affairs Group out of the firm’s Lansing office. Before joining Clark Hill where he provides advice and advocacy for state and federal clients, Van Fossen was director of Public Affairs for the Van Andel Institute and served as chief of staff to Congressman Pete Hoekstra. Van Fossen has more than 15 years of experience working in local, state and federal governments.
The official “Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels” was founded in 1932. It has contributed thousands of dollars to worthy causes over the years and its Colonels serve as ambassadors of good will and fellowship around the world.
