Research group names Clark Hill one of the fastest-growing D.C. lobbying firms

December 9, 2019

A nonpartisan and nonprofit political research group recently recognized Clark Hill as one of the fastest-growing lobbying firms in Washington D.C. since 2016.

The research group, OpenSecrets, published its findings on Dec. 5 on opensecrets.org.

The group referenced Clark Hill’s hiring of Kevin F. Kelly, Lauren C. Lipin, and Anthony P. Campau as three key additions who helped grow the firm’s lobbying revenue.

OpenSecrets wrote that Clark Hill experienced a sevenfold increase in revenue from lobbying clients from 2016 to 2017.

The article notes that Kelly is a former staffer for then Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.) and staff director of the Senate Appropriations Committee for almost a decade. Lipin was a legislative assistant to Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-Md.), and Campau is a former member of President Trump’s transition team and chief-of-staff at the White House’s regulatory review office.

Kelly is the leader of Clark Hill's Government and Public Affairs practice. Campau is the director of Government Regulation and counsel in the Government and Public Affairs practice group in Washington, D.C., and Detroit. Lipin is a manger of government affairs in Washington D.C. For more information and to see the OpenSecrets article, visit here.
