Clark Hill Strasburger Attorneys Elizabeth Cromwell and Chase Potter Named to Dallas' Best Lawyers Under 40

Congratulations to Member Elizabeth Cromwell and Senior Attorney Chase Potter for being honored as two of Dallas’ Best Lawyers Under 40 which recognizes young lawyers in the North Texas area. They were included in the January issue of D Magazine’s 2020 Best Lawyers under 40 feature and were honored at the reception for the winners on Thursday, January 23rd. To be nominated for this recognition, their fellow attorneys had to submit nominations on their behalf. This honor is given to attorneys who are under the age of 40 and have a minimum of five years of practice in the state of Texas.

Elizabeth Cromwell represents and advises exploration and production, midstream, and oilfield service company clients in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions. With a background in oil and gas title, Elizabeth has represented land and mineral owners in the negotiation of oil and gas leases, surface use agreements, and in title-related disputes, including in connection with deed construction concerning producing properties in the Permian Basin and the Eagle Ford Shale.

Chase Potter represents individuals and entities (both large corporations and closely-held companies) in business litigation disputes in state and federal courts and arbitration proceedings. His experience includes cases involving allegations of breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, breach of contract, securities fraud, civil theft, and derivative claims. Chase handles cases involving disputes between members of LLCs and current or former business partners, including partnership break-ups.
