Clark Hill PLC Attorney Roderick S. Coy to Present at MiTCA's First Virtual Conference, Nov. 14
LANSING, MICH. – Clark Hill PLC attorney Roderick S. Coy will present on new E-911 specific location requirements and multiline telephone systems at MiCTA’s first virtual conference, Nov. 14. In addition to Coy’s presentation, conference topics include cloud computing, cyberhate and mobile learning in K12.
Coy is a member of Clark Hill’s Government & Public Affairs Practice Group out of the firm’s Lansing office. He has more than 40 years of experience specializing in energy, telecommunications and utility law in Michigan, and is the general counsel to MiCTA. Coy’s work in telecommunications consists of counseling or representing private telecommunications networks; large institutional telecommunications users, such as universities and hospitals; and video and broadband service providers.
MiTCA was founded in 1982 as a professional organization for telecommunications directors at Michigan’s public universities. In addition to providing cost-effective professional development opportunities, MiTCA conducts research and informs members of technology changes in legislation and supports technological advancements through grants. Membership in MiTCA is limited to the public sector and non-profit entities, including higher education, health care, libraries, and state, county and municipal governments.
